These phases are carried out for each application or batch to be migrated. Thanks to a parallelisation of the teams and the transformation factory, the target applications can be produced in the shortest possible timescales.

Reference tests

Phase 3 covers the Reference Tests, the constitution of the test base, the Test Plans, for the application to be migrated. It concerns the sources which have been instrumented, the metrics and the test coverage. The characteristics of the application or migration batch are detailed in a document referred to as the “reference”.

Transformation and refactoring

Phase 4 is the actual Industrialised Migration of the components of the application in question.

Tests

Phase 5 is the execution of the Acceptance Tests – the technical and functional validation of the migrated application.

Deployment

Phase 6 is the Deployment of the migrated application into the production environment, carried out by the Client.
